At one time I wished I was not gay because I didn't want to be treated so badly by people and I didn't want to be marginalized in life by people. Then I came to realize that wishing I was something that I wasn't was self defeating and so I came to accept who I was and decided to live this life for me and not for everyone who wants me to be like them.I have been much happier with my life ever since I did that.

When I saw the movie "The Boys in the Band," it was quite convincing to me that just thinking about the idea "Gee, I wish I weren't gay" would be too painful.

If you want to start to play the "What if" game you might as well just put a bullet in your head right now because you are born gay and you will die a gay man and no wishing will magically undo that fact.

I used to - back when I was trying to come to terms with it. Not anymore though. Most of the men I encounter are pigs - from my brother, right down to the @sshole stranger who will walk through a door and let it slam shut behind him in my face.
I'm glad I love women.
(No offense to the guys here - I don't hate ALL men...)

I don't wish I were straight. I've embraced my homosexuality. But at times I do think about how easier my life would've been if I hadn't been gay.

No, I can not help it if I am gay ,or lesbian I have to accept and embrace and love the person I am. And thank God of what I am.
