I think he is as proud to be a Pinoy as he is an Italian.
Maybe you won't know much about his mom as she might be
camera-shy or a very private person. Most successful
people of Filipino descent I know are proud to say they
are. That I think can be expressed more when they are to
face a pre-dominantly Filipino crowd. The famous Fil-Ams
I know who have paid a visit to the Philippines and expressed
their pride to be part-Pinoy are as follows: (1) Allen
"apl.de.ap" Pineda Lindo (Filipina mother), singer and member
of The Black Eyed Peas (BEP), he has expressed his pride as
Pinoy not only during BEP's concert in Manila and the
presscons/interviews they attended but also through songs
like "Bebot" (a Tagalog slang for "pretty or hot lady"),
"The Apl Song" (a BEP version of a Filipino hit song "Anak"),
and others in the making. (2) David Bautista a.k.a. BATISTA
(Filipino father), he flaunted the tatoo on his biceps etched with a Philippine Flag.
