im patrick from France, and a lot of company in my country are going to India, and China ! because its more interesting for them
when you pay an engineer in France 2500 EUROS or 2700 USD, in India or China it cost around 500 or 600 usd/month ! you see the difference ?
So India is a great nation , students are very intelligent and i would like that everybody in this world can work . Sorry for my english !!!
PS: all indians i known in France are good studiants ! so you have great brain ! really i don't joke believe me .

The main reason is population, a nation is developed when all the people have access to basic needs, in india though we are growing at a good pace since we have such a huge population it iwll take maybe another 20 years to actually become developed.
Hopefully it will not take so much time.

For the development of a country you need skilled professionlas in all the fields, But in our country the IIT and IIM graduates are attracted towards hefty pay packages from abroad and they work there and settle there. Its not fair always to blame the politicians beacuse one politician Nehru only formed IIT thinking that the graduates will service india. But its something else happening today.

Because it is the rich, the famous and the influential who have really developed, not the country. Another reason - the youth who wants to develop themselves and so go abroad to further develop the already developed. And I think this developing process will continue for another 20-30 years.

Because many people in India learn basics and does higher studies here but soon they will find a job in abroad and will fly.
Thats the reason India is developing and others are developed

India has probably one of the most corrupt authorities in the world - The polititians, the police, the legal system, Education and much more - anyone can be bought.
It needs to start from the top down and will take another 20yrs just to do that.

people throw polybags on roads!!!
when an officer tells them that the work they want to get done can not be done they offer bribe!!!
in each election they vote for the least deserving candidate!!!
they dont know any of the traffic rules!!!
and then they expect india to be a developed country

Political Corruption. The money is not going where it is suppose to be going.
Do you think the politician make so much money from their salaries? It is the tax money. It the tax money was spend on public good. India would progress fast. When billion people pay tax, there should be more money in the treasury.

They are catching up very quickly, by the time they have the 2 cars per household and the modern appliances that most people have in the western world we will all chock to death from the pollution or be paddling our canoes
