Of course they know. They just don't know when, so until that time comes they have to go on without their loved one. And that can be extremely hard on emotions thus the sadness and tears. I take it you have never lost a loved one.

i've never lost anyone but i can safely say that if someone i loved died i would cry like i've never cried before. of course everyone knows they will too die some day . it's sad to think u have to live the rest of it without that person in ur life anymore.

You never understand grief until you have experienced it yourself. Of course we are sad when we lose loved ones, because we will never see them again, I lost my parents recently and of course I miss them and I am sad! I know I am going to die one day too but it still doesn't stop the pain of losing someone you love!! Please do me a favour and grow a heart, you might have feelings then, at the moment you are heartless!!

You really haven't been close to anyone, have you? Because if you have, you'll know all too well the feeling of genuine grief over the loss of a loved one. Yes, we'll all die, but we'll sorely miss our loved ones down here on Earth as we go on year after year trying to cope with the pain of grieving. Think of someone you love. Think of never seeing them again as long as you live. It's not fun, is it?

You're absultely right. They're in a better place...Heaven.

But we cry because it's tough to see someone go. We cry out of so called "selfishness"." WE loved spending time with that person, and we will no longer bbe able to communicate

well, because they are egoists. They think what that loss will be to them, and cry. They cry about themselves being without that person, not about the person.
If they believe in God (any- Christian, Muslim and so on), they must be happy that their beloved person is in a better place (heaven). If they are non-believers, and think that that person just disappeared, they are still crying about themselves: they think how bad it would be without that person and how they will have to go one day. It makes them scared.
