The correct word is 'arbitrage'.
It means the simultaneous buying and selling of a stock/commodity/other movable asset in two different markets in order to profit from the difference in price for the product in the two markets.
The price difference may be small but there could still be a profit to be made in the transactions after accounting for transaction costs, if the quantity involved is large enough.
