I don't know exactly what a GCE o is, but I do know that there are over 4000 college campuses in the USA, and that there are over 500,000 international students currently studying in the USA. So, the answer to your question really is, that you can only find out about a colleges admissions requirements by directly looking at the website of a college and contacting its admissions office. But very many USA colleges do accept foreign students, and they have a lot of experience in evaluating foreign school report.

So, decide what you want to study, where in the USA you would like to be, and then look at the websites of colleges in that area.
You can get an idea of what the most respected colleges in the USA are by looking at the Princeton Review website or the US News annual college ranking. I wouldn't worry about the top schools - they are extremely difficulty to get into. But there are many excellent schools that a good foreign student has a real chance at being accepted.

Well done!!! Go and celebrate. Well I thought 78% was a B and 80 and above are A's but maybe GCE's are like that. IGCSE's are much harder even if you get 75% that is a B and 80 and above are A's well 90 and above are A*'s. You should be happy, your only happiness to the subject Chemistry proves that, Chemistry was the only subject you worked hard for and the rest of the subjects were taken for granted by you but you survived with A's. Anyways CONGRATULATIONS.

I myself have IGCSE (=o level), and i also want to enter US.
thru my research i found that most colleges dont accept o level alone. they need, for eg, 5 o level subjects and 2 A level subjects.

and if u want to save the 2 a level years then u better start preparing for the SATs. But some colleges accept exceptional scores in o level, but its very rare. in USA o level does not meet their requirement as a proper high school.

so gud luck...
