Figure out where you're going wrong. If you have poor grades, ask yourself why. Are you studying enough? Do you tend to put off work until the last minute? Are you struggling in class to keep up with everyone else? Do you pay attention to what the teacher is saying, and ask questions when you don't understand?
If you're lost in class, ask the teacher for help, and he/she may be able to recommend you some helpful books or the name of a tutor. Don't be afraid to ask for help.
