I think Paula is kind, Randy has become sadistic and Simon is as 'cruel' as ever. (No offence to anyone.)

Actually I find everyone's viewpoints about the judges comments much more entertaining. Yes they are blunt. And yes sometimes a little too blunt but really, people who audition for American Idol know going in (or should) that the judging of their "talent" is going to be critical. Ok, I'll give you that poking fun of somebody's looks probably wasn't called for but did you notice that the guy with large eyes took it very well, telling Simon he was entitled to his opinion. And he is exactly right. We all need to be a little more thick skinned and not be so put off by what someone says. Like the old saying, sticks and stones may break my bones, but names can never hurt me.

They are getting more outrageous in order for the ratings to stay high. They have to keep upping the ante, so to speak. I think alot of the comments are uncalled for and absolutely ridiculous. Real auditions aren't like that AT ALL. But, whatever sells, I guess.
