The PSP needs very specific formats for movies and games, however it plays music normally so you can just download music directly onto the card.
Games I have not found, but movies are simple also.
I use DVDShrink to capture "Title One" of the DVD movies and 3GP capture to convert the movies into a format that the PSP can show. The average DVD movie converts to 600 Mb, so I can have three DVD movies on a 2Gb memstick.
