If you want really scary, try Elend (Umbersun or Les Ténèbres du Dehors)
Also Decoryah - Wisdom Floats.
It's mainly instrumental, dark ambiental rok/gothic with creepy music, screaming and occasional haunting female vocals.

I would say check out some dark dub (Dub is basically music without vocals, usually slowed down and very deep bass). Try Scarab, HIM, Torture, Blood, Bill Laswell, Spectre, Scotty Hard, Slotek, Nu Seeka, Material. Also the Meat Beat Manifesto ... In Dub album. You may even enjoy Massive Attack. If you enjoy that Nine Inch Nails industrial electro type sound, then you should find something amongst these artists that would appeal to you. Hope I was able to offer something worthwhile for you!

Try going to www.vampirefreaks.com and at the top go to music, then when the drop down thing comes up click on Band Profiles.
A few good ones are Collide, Angelspit, Razed in Black and Ayria. Theres a lot of good bands on there, so just take a look around till you find something.
