I don't know i been watching them and they are a very good defensive team. Without t-mac and Yao they played the suns very close. Plus they got talent T-mac,Yao,shane battier,Juwan howard,Luther head,Rafer alston,Mutombo, chuck hayes, novak for 3's and the wild card Bonzi wells. there are a lot of ifs but that team is nice what ya'll think

They don't have a chance if either McGrady or Yao is out, plain and simple. They are an outstanding defensive team, yielding only a .418 shooting percentage for opposing teams, that stat alone is impressive. Every Van Gundy team will have discipline on offense, and will be a great defensive team. If they remain healthy I think they have a small chance. In the playoffs, they will have to face at least 2 of the 3 powerhouses in the west in Dallas, Phoenix, and San Antonio and I just don't see them being able to knock of those teams. If they were in the eastern division I would consider them favorites, but unfortuanately they are stuck in the best division in basketball.

Houston has a great team, but in order to have a chance for the title, both McGrady and Yao need to be healthy. Head, Alston, Howard and Novak are good offensive players, and Battier, Mutombo, and Hayes are good defensive players, but these guys are nowhere near the talent level of the '04 Pistons, who won despite not having a single superstar. Houston needs both of their superstars to have a good chance at the title.

With McGrady and Yao out, I think Houston has lost all their chance for the title.

Plus, with the great performances the west teams are giving, the Rockets are simply too far behind to make it to the playoffs.

Personally, I doubt that Houston will even make it to the playoffs. I look forward to see either the Lakers or Jazz taking that 4th spot in the Western Conference.

YEAhhhh if they can stay healthy. thats always been the problem last yr and this yr. I love the rockets and picked em the beginningn of the year. They have an all around game especially with tmac and yao playing. they can score 100 on any given night and lockdown any team when theyre at full strength.

A chance at the title, no. They have to beat the Mavs and the Suns before they even think about getting to the finals.

Nope, not a chance in hell. Dallas Mavericks is the Texas team you need to go with.

No way, they are a third tier team this year. They are better off tanking it and trying to get a better draft pick!
