Here is one I did once...I was on a plane heading to LAX from a trip to Indiana and Ohio. I asked the Flight Attendant what time it was "Western Time"...I have no idea why I said Western Time instead of Pacific Time...she gave me this, oh-you-poor-uneducated-fool look. I felt so bad...what about you?

No- I KNOW its Pacific Time...I just don't know why I said Western. I think its because I had been saying Easter Time, so I just said 'oh, the west, now its Western Time" Even though I knew it was Pacific.

That doesn't make you ignorant. And that was so arrogant of her to say such thing. Along the way, you learn more and more - that's just the way it is.

Usually, in the States at a wedding, they put these disposable cameras on each table at the reception for the guests to take pics.
Well, he I am at a wedding in Bologna, Italy in November. I sit down and see the disposable camera and I'm like "OK; no one else is taking pics so I'll do it."
So I start shooting away, about 5-6 pics, and I put it back down on the table.
About 2 seconds later, the lady 2 seats to my right, while looking at me out of the corner of her eye, slowly moves the camera back next to her plate....because IT WAS HERS.
And did I feel like a big ***...you bet.

I was at some new friends house. They are french. I thought something said "the charming house" in french and read it out confidently. It actually said the enchanted hut. I was so embarrassed.
