Current scientific models do not allow for travelling through time in any way other than what we do as a natural part of our existence. Time is relative though, and you could travel to the future in a sense by moving away from and then returning to Earth very fast (close to the speed of light), as more time will have passed for Earth than it would have for you. Otherwise, as far as we know, time travel is not possible.

The explanation given is hypothetically true but is not YET practically succesful:-

Basically, time machine will not be what we see in films or cartoons. It will be just a net of lasers in which a thing will collide will one laser, then the other and so on & finally will attain a speed of 300000 km/s & will be able to travel through time. But there are many practical problems- Firstly- It is very difficult to make such type of a structure (explained above). Secondly, how can we regulate that how many years/months/hours ahead or behind we have to go & the most important, How will we come back???? Another problem is that we cannot travel before the time of the making of the time machine i.e if a time machine is made on 19th Jan 2007 at 6:00 p.m, u cannot go in the time before this time.

I hope this much is enough.

Time Travel does sound very interesting.
Theoretical time travel is possible according to
Einstein's theory of relativity.
Time travel into the past is practically impossible due to
unavoidable complexities.
However, time travel into the future is practically possible if we are able to build a machine which travels at the speed of light.
About 300000 kms \hr!!
If such a machine is built ,then time travel may no longer be just a dream.

If there is something like destiny,i.e. no matter what you do the future is already decided and will not change, then the idea of building a Time machine is feasible but if each person's future is not pre-destined then I don't think it is possible to make a Time Machine.

hi have u learnt about Einstein's law of relativity.
According to which he says that all the particles or things in the world r moving with a velocity that is equal to the velocity of the light. So according to that Ur life is thing or phenomena or a happening that is happening or moving with the velocity of the velocity of the light.
So if ur doing in the present means that u r doing the thing with accordance to the velocity of light. If u want to go ahead or beyond u can do just by going faster or slower.
U can itself build a time machine if u can manufacture a car or a motor or any new thing that can move faster than the velocity of light.
Ok if u want a time machine u try to build a car which can move more faster than the velocity of light which is 3*10e8.

Bye
have a good day

You don't have to worry of building Time Machines. The future is completely in God's hands. Cheers!

Take a box and write TIME MACHINE on it. Charge people to use it for $100. You lock them in for an hour and they will come out in the future basically the same, minus the hundred bucks.

It already exsist .....only if we could find a way to travel at the speed of light ! future travel is possible if we travel at the speed of light ! If we can find a way to travel faster than life then we travel back in time ! you can actually assist your own birth or meet your twin 20 older than when you started the travel !
space station MIR has shown the watch of the russina cosmonaut ahead by 1/5 of a second after his 6 month stay in space . he was travelling faster than earthlings and hence he advanced by 1/5th of a second. time machine is already in place !!

if anyone knew HOW? then we would have made one...

anyways to my knowledge scientists do have made one... but of primitive type not at all effective it cant work till the same is not made somewhere in future (parallel world)

various theories have been proposed for how to travel time... like "kerr blackholes" those black holes that rotate and got no singularity (the focussed point in the middle of the hole where things collapse) are assumed to be means of time travel to parallel world...
also according to einstein... travelling time is possible if we could achieve speed of light (same as superman does lol)

anyways... science says... time travel may be made possible but we wont be able to travel past though we may be able to travel our future...

You could think of your car as a time machine:
everything you can see through the windshield is in the future. every thing in the back window is the past.
