In Ayn Rand's own terms, "My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute."
Objectivism states that objective knowledge can only be gained through the senses or measurement--you determine the color of a flower by looking at it, its height by measuring it with a ruler. It is also that happiness is the number one moral purpose in a person's life.

Here's a pot.

You see it as a vessel to carry water and cuss the guy who gave it three handles.

I see it as art and laud the fellow who gave it three handles.

Any more questions?

Its that humans self centered nature is evil. You don't need to worry about yourself because there is always somebody worrying about you. And you are always worrying about someone else.
Logically this doesn't work.
