It's a bit of a process. You'll first have to "rip" the cds into mp3 format. If you have winamp, I believe winamp will allow you to rip the cd, or go to www.download.com and get cdex, that works well. Once you have that, open up itunes, add the folder where the new ripped cd is, plug in your ipod and update your ipod.

Hope this helps, good luck.

It is a really simple procedure, so i'm amazed your having problems! Presuming you've loaded itunes onto your computer, where it says music, click on the little ticks next to the tracks or albums you want to download. Then plug your ipod with its lead in to the usb port, and a few seconds later on your computer screen it should then automatically come up with a little popup that says something along the lines of download tracks to your ipod. Click yes and voila! You're done. If it doesn't come up with the pop up window then click file (keep your ipod attached to the computer) and sync ipod. Then it should be transfer the music across to the ipod. To get the pop up on your computer screen to come up in the future as soon as you connect your ipod click on to My Ipod (it may have your name next to it) on the left side of itunes and when it opens adjust your preferences so that it will ask you if you want to transfer music as soon as you connect your ipod. Best of luck!
