i knew that he had finished filming hairspray..then why he doesn't follow the rest of the tour?it's fine that he is not really singing in the high school musical..but he is the main cast and he need to follow the tour...he is also sing a bit in the high school musical...can someone tell me why?please..

Well after filming High School Musical Zac got the role of Link in Hairspray so he basically went from HSM to Hairspray and he just finished filming it. I am pretty sure that he wants and deserves a break before he starts High School Musical 2. He might attend the last concert in LA.
The reason why zac sings a bit in HSM is because the role called for a tenor and he is baritone. So he is only able sing parts of he song and the rest needed to be a tenor and that is where Drew Seeley came in to sing the rest of the parts.
Zac sings the beginning and end of "Start of something new" , the balcony scene, and the beginning of "Breaking Free"

They want Drew Seeley to get credit for all the work he did and he never really got honored.

maybe he's just busy or sick or something. whatever it is, i think it's a reasonable reason.
