I throw mine in the washing machine with HOT water, a little detergent, and liquid BLEACH. I do not put in dryer. I hang it back up to air dry. It comes out like it's brand new. I have washed the same cheap curtain maybe three times this way and it's just fine.

Take the transparent shower curtain down and remove the hooks, place in your washer on gentle, add Vineger about a cup or two, cold water, wash but no need to dry.

I have a transparent curtain and I use a little soap on a nail brush or nylon scourer to wash it while I am in shower.I only have the water on a little so you dont need much water. You need to hold it up a little so you do not put pressure on the top of curtain , but it works for me. Just rinse off with clean water.

Sure. Just remove the rings and toss the curtain in the washer under gentle cycle. You can use a little detergent, but not much. After it's finished just hang it back up.

I personally haven't found an "easy way" to clean shower curtains. If you really want to be frugal and keep it... you can lay the curtain on the shower floor and use the Mr. Clean Magic Sponge. It's alot easier to clean it that way.

most of them are too flimsy, you can buy one at wal mart for 2.50 or if you have a heavy duty thick one,put in the washer with deterg and bleach and let soak wash on gently cycle and dry on the air only cycle in the dryer
