For a PS3 you will want two things:
An HDMI input and 1080p capabilities.

I would go with a Bravia, just because that is also from Sony. You would figure that when they were testing the PS3 they would be using their own in-house monitors and the Bravia's are their most popular line that includes 1080p. It is also LCD based, which I feel gives a better viewing angle than a DLP and appears to have brighter colors.

Samsungs, Sharps, or any other brand would also do the trick, just as long as they have HDMI inputs and 1080p capability. I personally use a Samsung with 1080p and it looks just as amazing as anything else that I've seen out there.

No matter what you buy it will cost you a pretty penny, so be prepared for that.

Hope this was of some help.

get any of the 1080p samsung dlp's. thats full 1080p hd for less than 2500 dollars. you really cant beat the picture quality. it would be incredibly stupid to shell out 10 grand on a similar resolution tv because its lcd or plasma.
