there are 4 english girls and one indian girl in the CBB house. Among the 4 english girls , Jade did the most racial abuses , danielle said shilpa should ffuck off home , jo said that argument made her day , Cleo watched but said/did nothing. So,at best we can say none of the english girls in the CCB house took an anti-racist stance , that was bad.

It is not about race as someone else has said, it is about class. Jade doesn't like the Indian lady and the media has made it into a racist issue, which is very bad of the media. I personally think that the people who have made it into a racist issue should be sacked from their job, because they have created all this fuss. What really gets me is that this Indian lady is using her race as an excuse, so many people have had a real bad time in Big Brother house, and who came to their rescue? For an example the Welsh ex model had it hard, she could say the people were racist against Welsh or that they were being ageist as she was the oldest house mate. I think there was ageism going on in the house when she was there, but no one made an issue of her pain, so why is this Indian lady's pain any worse????

I think the world is mature enough to know that a few childish bullies do not make a nation. I do think though that they are watching for the vote, to see where the UK's sympathies lie.
Irrespective, those who previously thought well of us will be putting us on probation. And this will always be in the back of their mind when discussing us.
Those who disliked us just have more ammunition.
Regardless of whether it was racist, I think many would appreciate eviction and some form of career curtailment for the perpetrators. Just to re-inforce that we do not reward this kind of behaviour. If this doesn't happen many will see it as validation for bad behaviour in the UK.

It's not racist I think but ignorance. The three girls have grouped together and two are like sheep following their leader. Jade is of mixed race so she knows what it is like to have somebody question the colour of her skin. She did only find fame through big brother and she's not known for her intelligence. If somebody actually pointed out to her what she has been saying then I'm sure she would be embarrassed over this. Big Brother so far have not pointed out to her what she has done. From what I have seen they have not taken all three girls to one side and told them what is happening in the outside world. What a shock they will have when they get out.

i agree to a point.
I think much of it is class and status. Their jealous of Shilpa because of that.
Lets face it she's also very pretty, but that is still no excuse for the bullying and emotional blackmail.
We also have to remember how much of what we are seeing is actually true.
Remember Big Brother has the ability and is editing much of the clips, it is thus put togethewr how they deem makes the best viewing. Thus bias is attached.

Not racism. Just imagine Shilpa being white and a member of the British Upper-Classes or similiar. Jade still would have had a go at her cos she's from South London and had a fairly tough upbringing, which is no fault of her own.

If you watch the show it is not really a racist attack. However the Three who are ganging up on Shilpa do make it seem racist. I also think Jade might have said something on the other hand.

What angers me is that this unpleasant, unattractive person, totally devoid of any talent, with nothing to contribute to anything, is now very rich, because of our society's media-obsession.
The fact that she doesn't seem to realise that her celebrity is down to the fact she is a grotesque, and watched out of morbid fascination, is rather pathetic!
But if you consider Jade to be a typical example of the urban underclass, then maybe we really do have a big problem as a society.
Then again, the fact that so many thousands have complained, and there is such a reaction over her behaviour may indicate she is not so typical after all.

I don't think that any of the contestants are being racist. If you watch carefully you will realise the issue here is about class, not race.
