All my freind's have seen it, and they said they didn,t know what the hell was going on threw out the whole film, if you have seen it what did you think of it ?

its not that hard to follow. A reporter and his friend lawyer go to Vegas like a road trip all while on hallucinogens and we see the movie through their point of view. I bought it and thought it was stupid so I gave it to my sister.

Well, if you read the book first you will definitely know what is going on, get it from the library ,
Though the film may be less coherent than the book - but that's part of the point of the story- it's fractured and spacy....as near as the author could make it to the experience of doing Vegas ( on drugs )

Yeah, it's an interesting movie, best viewed while under the influence of some sort of illegal substance. I agree, the book is a good read, so I think you should do both, read it, then watch it. BTW,
I noticed you're a Johnny Depp fan, don't hire it just cause he's in it. He's completely ugly and unattractive in this part.

I have was a while ago, very funny film.
basicly two journalists go on a mission to vegas to get as F0cked up in the head as possible by taking an amazing cocktail of drugs.
Que, hillarity as the two struggle to keep their wits about them
the best bit is when they are on ether, they properly lose the plot

It was based on a druggie book and all the fans of the book and the movie are pretty much kids who think drugs are really cool. They don't know why they think they like it, because it doesn't have much of a point, they just think they'll sound cool if they say they like it.

lmao... yeah I've seen it, but don't ask me if I remember it cuz most ppl who have watched it.. were tripping. That's partly why the movie is so popular. Same with The Wizard of Oz and the Pink Floyd cd...
Your friends probably don't know what was going on because it's a trippy movie in general, or they actually WERE tripping.

You should read the book first - it will make the whole thing clearer.
It's a short book and totally excellent - one of my favourites. Read it then watch the film and everything will be clear

a guy I know at work dressed up like depp's character in that movie on halloween. I was the only one who got it.
Its one trippy movie. And if you your a person who really gets trippy movies you have a good chance of liking it. But as they say.. its not for everyone.
