I'd also like to see statues of Hathor there, if any survive in Egypt.

There are statues of both Sekhmet and Hathor in the Egyptian Museum.Which will be the best examples that you will be able to access.Most free standing statues have long been taken from their sites to museums around the world.
You will also see Hathor depicted on many temple walls and in tombs.
You will also notice she is at times referred to as Isis,this is one of the difficulties of Egyptology, and requires separate explanation.
During some eras of the long Egyptian history they were considered two aspects of the one Goddess. Similar to Horus the child and Horus the Elder.One God, two aspects.
You will find many depictions of Hathor at Dendara, which was the centre of her cult.There is a beautiful temple dedicated to her. Isis is also often shown with the cow horns of Hathor in reliefs.
In mythology Hathor was the wet nurse of Horus,Isis's son, and later she also became his wife.
There are depictions of Sekhmet in the tomb of Sahure's temple at Saqqara.There is a theory that they may have erected many statues of Sekhmet at the time of the volcanic eruptions of Santorini in the Mediterranean.These would have been to appease the Goddess and gain her protection.of the area..
Sekhmet was originally the patron Goddess of Memphis an ancient Pharonic city that lies under outer Cairo.
