With regards to the weed thing - No way.
In terms of his playing ability - Possibly. I'll tell you why.
Positives:
- Entertainment value he is great. When he scrambles his speed, agility and inability to tuck the ball is great TV.
- He sells a lot of T-shirts
- He brings new fans into the game
- He can get out of sacking situations
Negatives:
- If I was a Falcons fan I'd have had enough. He has maybe 3 decent QB games a year where his passing AND running work
- Sure he ran for 1,000 yards but how many did he throw for??
- If he could pass better the RB would get more yards to make up for his decrease in rushing yards
- He makes poor choices and poor throws regularly
- He hardly ever tucks the ball when running and so fumbles too much
Bottom line: A QB needs to be able to throw and he can't. If he could throw it would back the D up and free up the running game and his scrambles a lot more.
All people ever rave about is his speed and ability to not get sacked. So, he should be a RB. Problem is he is too small and would get killed running inside. Solution? If the guy has got hands then put him as a Receiver otherwise if the Falcons want to win something they need a QB that can throw and throw well regularly. The Receivers they have can catch he just makes poor throws most of the time

Micheal vick made a dumb move by trying to bring weed on a plane in miami a drug capital of the world in a water bottle.
He has money it not like he coundn't get a bag of weed!!!
Second how do kick out the most entertaining player in football
would else threw for 2000 yards and ran for 1000 yards in a single season.
Vick has been to a conference chamionship game just like Peyton manning so it not like other Qb's are winning more games
The falcons before vick sucked
Vick receivers drop so many balls which is partially micheal fault.
Vick has his problems and they get lots of press cause of his own dumb decisions.
Vick does need to improve his passing but what Qb doesn't need too. Vick needs to protect the ball more
kinda like steve young vick needs to grow and develops as a passer and he will
Vick will get better he will grow if he has the same coach and system for more than a few years

NO WAY!!! Sorry but that answer below is a terrible one. You cant trade a franchise player like Vick. Sure hes had some off the field problems but so has my boy Willis Mcgahee and Im praying we dont trade him. lol btw Im a bills fan so my opinion is not biased. But neways If the Falcons could give Vick a nice OL, a decent D and maybe one reciever that can catch the ball he would be a good QB. Plus come on hes the first QB to run for 1,000 yds thats exciting to watch. An I dont even like the guy but you have to give him his props. GO BILLS 2007!!!
And I dont think Ninerfish knows what hes talking about the running game is solid, the O puts up enough points to win 11 to 12 games a season but the D crumbles regularly particularly against the pass, in my opinion D. Hall is way overrated. An o btw those recievers that can catch the ball how come they combine for the most dropped passes in the leauge, dont tell me Vick throws terrible passes all the time.

No
he did something stupid but I have never heard of someone being charged for a container that used to or may have contained an illegal substance, he didn't have an once or any amount on him there fore I doubt if there will be any charges
and the NFL does make a ton of money from him
he is good , maybe not conventional, I actually saw him out in public a couple of years ago and he really was humbled by the attention people were giving him

some quarterbacks jus arent meant to have a season like peyton manning. some are meant to have more rushing yards than some of the running backs. and vick happens to be the latter of the two. the west coast offense that the falcons run is typically based on speed. and putting vick at running back or slot is strickly genius. that is very similar to the wildcat formation that arkansas ran this year. very confusing for a defense.

He should at least be fined heavily with the proceeds benefitting some type of youth group and he should also be require to perform community service by speaking at schools about drug use. Pro football players especially quarterbacks should serve as role models for our children. I don't think I would want my child looking up to Michael Vick.

If you're referring to the marijuana incident in the airport I'd have to say no. Maybe a few games suspension for substance abuse. He does have a negative attitude towards fans and he's WAY OVER RATED but you don't kicked out of the NFL for that.

He should be turned into a RB or a WR. At the very least, he should be a punt returner.
