My family and I are going to go to Alaska sometime this spring or summer, possibly sooner. We live in Oregon. What type(s) of paperwork (if any) do you have to present to the people at the Canadian border? We will be going up through Washington and then into British Columbia, Canada, then to Alaska. I have heard that you need to have certified birth certificates, but is there anything else you need to bring to show them? Do you have to have a passport? And what about pets...do they (the people) need to see proof that pets have had their rabies shots as well as their other shots? And going from Canada to Alaska...do you present all this same paperwork or none at all? What is the procedure for doing all of this? I know this is a lot of questions, but I really need to know ASAP. Thanks.
