I am actually a qualified nurse but I got sick of the politics of nursing and not being able to get on with my job without the chiefs interfering. Soooo now I am a painter and decorator being paid extremely well by my property developer brother.

I love it! I go to empty houses, have my own company all day,(which is bliss), and can be there for my daughters day and night when they need me.

I REALLY miss nursing so much but until my daughters are older this is what suits me. I have the best of both worlds because I am a well paid working mum but can also be a 24 hour mum when the need arises.

i started off my working life as a care worker, then moved into adult education, and advice work. now i am self-employed and work from home offering distance learning courses and home tutoring to adult learners, this gives me loads of flexibility over childcare etc. i love what i do now (well i've loved most the jobs i've ever done) i have learnt so much from running my own business and have just about completed my website http://rebecca-swift.co.uk/default.aspx
My advice to all, is to only do jobs that you are happy in, i know a lot of people have to work for a living, but if you don't like what you do then start looking for a change today - you only get one life so why not enjoy it!

I run A mobile fun casino hire company. We provide casino tables and croupiers to events and parties for entertainment, all over the UK. We were even booked to run five fun casino night events at the bestival on the Isle of Wight last year. It was amazing. All the gambling involved is strictly for entertainment only. No real money allowed. It's great fun, I get to travel and go to many parties.
