A car you put together yourself...I've had to deal with people who took on the daunting challenge of building their own cars. And most of them had no clue what they were getting themselves into. Unless you are a GOOD mechanic. And are very resourcefull, I would not attempt it. The price you wind up paying after all is said and done is usually ridiculously out of proportion.
First of all..A kit does not normally come with a drive train, or wheels and tires. The safety of the vehicle is normally way below par compared to factory built automobiles. And you want to insure it?.......call Lloyd's of London..

A fake built to look like something expensive. There are quite a few that have been made for the Volkswagon chassis.
