Not sure if you categorized this correctly but make sure you have antifreeze & uncorroded battery caps.

Well, if this is for a baby then I would have to say have make sure you have a good strong car seat and all the small thing a baby needs like a blanket or one of those covers that you can put over the car seat before you take it out of the car. And if you want to be able to see your baby at all times they do have baby safety things made just for that. And word of the wise always keep a few dippers and wipes in there because there could be a day you just might forget the dipper bag when going on a short earn.

Unless your worried about where to put your car seat so your child won't get cold, I don't know how preparing your car for the winter ends up in the parenting and pregnancy section.
