Is peace on earth really possible? I think (and is just a theory) what we all need is to discover life on another planet, it seems like we all get along better when we have a common enemy.... agree or disagree?

Peace on earth is not possible. The basic root cause of all the issues lies in the fact that the intelligence levels of human beings. It always creates social and economical imbalances that finally result in social unrest.

We do have to find other planets to colonise peacefully or violently as the case may be but not for your reasons. Humans are Territorial beasts. I will always attack my neighbor for his better piece of land or water rights or cattle etc. I will behave in this way whether I'm an individual, a tribe, or a nation.Don't go far to other planets look here at home at recent history.Look at the USA. Look at the wild west the violence (virgin territory) and in less than a hundred years of existence a really bloody civil war. Don't get me wrong. We enjoy peace but territory and property are hard wired into us by momma nature. You can't have the one without the other. Peace is not an absolute concept in human minds. So ther will always be my kind of peace and your kind of peace and we will fight over that.

I agree, yet then, I find I enjoy those that get under my skin, they are the cultivators of the soul and your family is the charming Gardner's that make your soul bloom or visa versa, I could toss a few family members into the compost, might make for good worm food...

i think peace on earth will be impossible because even if we have a common enemy we will always be watch our backs for the traitor among us
