Age is less of a factor than your academic performance, now, in the past and in the future.
A doctor goes to 4 years of college, then 4 years of medical school then 4 years of specialty training.
If you are prepared to wait until you are 35 or 36 to begin your medical career, go for it. Good luck.

Go to a surgery room and see what is like. You'll see children dieing in your arms, people suffering, you must be a very powerful person. I wanna tell you something, more like fun, after you graduate you'll be different from now. Probably you'll quit on 2 or 3dr year, 50% or more quit before graduating. It's very much to study, my brother is a dentist, that's why I know this. If you can do this and you're very studious, then you can do it. But remember that you'll have some work to do and some money :) - that is a good part, so doc, keep on!

You could get a job or volunteer in a hospital for a summer and have a better idea if such a life is suited for you. Reality of the medical profession might be a shock to you.

If that's what you really want, go ahead and pursue. But studying to become a doctor will take lots of hardwork and you should be very devoted so you will be successful in that field. If you really work very hard, you're life will be better...

I would give it your best try. I just hope you are more compassionate than the doctors I have known. They are mostly all pompous @$$e$ with no feeling for their patients. Go for it.
