"Unity" , if that can be understood, would it not be finite and therefore lacking? missing unity?. Can unity lack? Can this unity be truly understood in language and in thought? Or is it beyond that which is conceivable, beyond thought?

You ask many interesting questions. You may consider to ask, "WHO is asking and what relation with Unity does the questioner have?"

If you take unity at it's most basic it does represent one and all, but if you expand the meaning does it really truly represent unity for one and all assuming that the forces involved are acting in a perfectly harmonius way. If one is not in perfect harmony then it can't be united.

Unity is supposed to represent one and all.

However that is an impossible dream and not a realistic goal.
If even one person does not agree with everything then there is no unity... just a majority.

Where you have a majority, you have a minority...and where a minority exists you have at least verbal conflict.

No, unity is something we choose as individuals. Most of the time that choice is based on our individual wants, fears and/or ignorance. Unity, that represents one and all, as you are stating happens when we stand where we are, not when stand where others are.

Think of yourself as a wheel, your the axle, and at the end of each spoke is your life, home, family, work, friends or whatever. If you stand on the end of one of the spokes, towards the tire, how does your wheel role?

Stand centered, take care of yourself, and you will be capable of being there for others. --- imagine if we were all centered, our wheels rolling smoothly, our lives in - "unity of one with ourselves".

Wow, we would all be rolling in unity and benefiting all.

Stop pursing unity - the stars twinkle at night on their own (no chasing needed), find your center, look up and enjoy them.

UNITY is a wonderful thing. To be unified all humankind must recognize & embrace our differences as a good thing if we are ALL tolerant. As we understand that despite our differences, we all have more in common than we usually take the time to recognize. We all have the same basic hopes, desires, love for our children, & a basic desire common to all human creatures for a more secure & hopeful world. I think that even those who have been seduced into teaching terror as a means to reach some goal, somewhere in their hearts there still resides a seed of a desire for UNITY that they will recognize only when their alloted time on this earth is at an end regardless of what they may say. I may be totally wrong but that is for others to judge.
Yes I believe you are right, one & all ARE UNIFIED.

The concept of 'Unity' implies dualism which is but a delusion ot the unenlightened mind.
"Oneness" IS The Truth!
By definition "Source" is the Gestalt and everything is but a projection from 'Source' hence 'One is ALL and ALL IS One'!

We are all one, united in Gods Unconditional Love within our hearts. "God dwells within you as you". As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunlight, so to are we all contained within the light of Gods Unconditional Love.
