My oldest son is 13 and his name is Briant. However I have never ever seen anyone spell the name like that. Baby name sites don't even give it as an alternative spelling to Bryant. We chose to spell it like this because my husband's name is Brian and we didn't want a Jr and our daughter's name is Briana
Has anyone ever seen Briant spelled this way?

We have 4 children, McKenzie and Gabriel. We joke that we ran out ways to spell Brian.

He doesn't get so many mis-spellings as he does mispronouciations. People often leave off the 't' and just call him Brian.

brenda, brian, brent, bart, barry. My grandmother said she coulndt think of anymore "B" names, I should tell her this one...I like it :)
Other than that, I have never met someone with that name or heard of it spelled that way. It is unique, which is very good.

I have never seen that name before, but it seems to be the trend to mix up spellings of names, adding random "i" and "j" to other names, or swapping "S" for "z".

Bodhi. i imagine his finished call became something like "Bodhisattva" or something like that, which i imagine is a Buddhist be conscious...although the humorous concern is...he wasn't Buddhist (and neither were his mothers and fathers)!
