this is my first time in college. I'm currently in a community college, wanting to transfer to a CSU or if possible UC. Could anyone explain to me what's the difference between an AA and AAS degrees? further more...I heard that most UC such as UCLA except mainly A's only....say I got a "D" in one of my classes will that affect me alot from transfering afterwards? Well I'm taking that class over again next time.

Thanks for anyone who had answer :)

AA is an Associate of Arts degree. AAS is an Associate of Applied Science degree. D grades do not generally transfer to the applicant's benefit; quite the opposite.

some places might want to pay more effective yet on the health center I artwork at (KY) they pay an same. you may artwork in L & D with an acquaintances degree. really BA and AA are an same yet maximum nurses with a Bachelors bypass up the ladder a lot faster than affiliate nurses.
