always try to live in present .just do your best efforts for every work but dont bother about the results. either you are in a very good position or in a problematic situation ,just remember one thing _ " this too will pass ". there are three things .try to practice on it.
1. area of control - do all that work which you can do yourself.
2. area of influence- always try to expend your area of influence.hand over work to the persons under your control.
3. area of concern- forget it if nothing is your control.

First of all know that without sorrows, there is no happiness. This is my advise for an average thinker.

If you can go deep into the subject, happiness is a mental state that can be enjoyed at any time. Every moment it is there. The problem is that you fly up or dive low from normal level and loose it. In stable mind there is neither lust nor hatred. Irrespective of the situation it knows to keep its calm and serene nature. Then only you can enjoy every moment of your life.

I would not want to be happy every moment of my life.

Firstly, that would be boring.

Secondly, if I was happy every moment of my life, how would I know I was happy? What would I have to base it upon?

We all live on a wave. It isn't possible to be happy every moment. We need a balance. It helps make us interesting. A person that is the same all the time can be a bit boring.

Who are the happiest people in the world? Little children aren't they? So to be happy most of the time, like a child, study them and find out how they live. But to be happy all the time is unrealistic, even children cry once in a great while.

I don't believe that any human being could possibly be happy every moment of his or her life.

I am a very angry person. I have to TRY to be nice most of the time. I think that most people are selfish and evil but...it's not always true. I ask myself if the rest of the world feels like I do and does everyone have to try this hard to understand? You do not have to be happy all of the time because you would not have the misery to compare reality to. I guess the short answer is to remember that yuo could have it so much worse....

We should think every moment is our last moment of Earth Planet. Then we can utilise it properly and then every moment of our life becomes happy.
