Thank you for having the guts to admit what aver mommy feels at some point but never tells anyone. You did the right thing. Some people do not have a person to call and relieve them when patience runs thin. Letting the little one cry is sooo much better that screaming at him or, worse, hitting. My daughter has been exiled to her crib more than once to allow me to breathe and sometimes cry. Hang in there, baby! I applaud your honesty.

It's as much as YOU the way you carry your baby. What ever your intestine tells you, then do it. A dangerous mom is any person who does not feed their youngsters, any person who beats their youngsters, any person who does not care. If a mother has to visit paintings to help her household and be certain her household has what they want, they're a nasty mother? If a mother has to make use of WIC or foodstamps, considering that she are not able to have the funds for to not, they're a nasty mother??If you be certain your baby is fed,you are a nasty mother? As lengthy because the baby is not hungry then what is the deal? If you feed your baby in public you are a nasty mother?? So you desire the baby to head hungry? If a mother takes her baby in public earlier than he/she is six weeks she's a nasty mother? So the mother is think to rent a sitter for five mins at the same time you get diapers? You're a nasty mother for those who allow your little one cry for a couple of mins? It's well to allow them to,considering that it is helping their lungs. You're a nasty mother for those who feed little one solids below 6 months? Doctor reccomends it at 4months.I are not able to belive you honestly mentioned that. You feel you are a ideal mom do not you? News flash darlin' there are not any ideal moms however they are are well ones

Yea, really bad. Don't you know human beings do not need sleep? Don't you know that mothers are superwoman who never get impatient.

Good grief girl. You are human. If he has such a problem then why is he letting her cry. He was asleep you say? Well he needs to get up with this child in the middle of the night once in a while loose a little sleep and be a parent himself.

Letting your child cry is a good thing, not bad. Taking a moment for yourself helps you keep your mental health. It is not going to hurt him being in the saucer for 15 minutes. Have your fiance stay up all night and deal with him the next day, see how quick he is to judge then! No, you are not a bad mother at all!

No, it doesn't mean you're a cruel mother. With the lack of sleep you had, your fiancee should have gotten up and tended to the baby's needs. The baby might have had a wet diaper or just needed to be rocked back to sleep. Tell him he's got to take more of an active role in helping with the baby, especially when you are too tired.

I don't think you are terrible for leaving him cry for only 10-15 minutes. I wouldn't do it all the time but its not going to kill him to sit there for a little bit. Your fiance sounds cruel and if you were so tired and afraid that you would drop him then he should understand that instead of criticizing you

Yes! that sounds like a horrible mother!!! When a baby is crying there is a reason!
Remember the baby who had 9 toes chewed off by that dog? THAT BABY WAS CRYING!!!! But that mom justed assumed the baby was being cranky, and was to lazy to get up and comfort her child. Come to find out the baby was crying cuz it's toe's were being eaten off!

You should flip the script, think if you were COMPLETELY HELPLESS and needed something! So you cried and cried to get the only person who can help you's attention, but they were to tired to come help you, so they just left you there. How would you feel???

ALSO a baby's cry is there only way to get attention; when a baby cries and gets no response, they learn that noone loves them. Eventually they will stop crying more and more often when they need something. And this can slow there development.
IT'S CALLED CHILD ABUSE!!!

How you Bond with your mother as an infant can shape your whole life!!!!!!!!!

No, you're not. The fact that you're asking this question says that you're not. It's natural to question what you do about your baby. It's also natural to think you're messing up. Maybe you could've handled it differently but, we all make choices the best we can with the information we have at the moment. Next time, tell your fiancee to help you out a little!

Actually a lot of parenting books suggest allowing your baby to cry themselves out every once in awhile. Provided they are not hurt or in need in some way.
