The requirement of a child is less. The child enjoys the present and does not think of future like savings. It has no responsibility also. As the child grows up, it has to take responsibility, think of future, etc which makes the child worry rather than enjoy the present.

Because the world is an ugly place- and we teach children that thier innnocence and purity is wrong. In todays society a happy person is assumed to be stupid, so many simply stop smiling.
We need to teach our children that sometimes adults forget how wonderfull a smile and a laugh can be because we are a little silly, kids always remember to smile when they're happy!

small child's having lot of sense of humour that he/she cant explain by words .
while growing guardian /parent, teacher try to teach them manners (instead several banns) manner is what we/ he/ she have to do a respect elders.
but they learn basic requirements for survive in which serious dealings ,thoughts are attached by us.
we give them exclamatory sign reply at there funny mood.
here we need to understand the meaning of manners, life etc.. weather if it is for removing happiness from our life ;
so that we can keep smile forever.

as a small child when u smile...u do gets a lot s of KISSes from everyone in exchange...
when u growup.....and keep smileing, to invite KISSes from the whole Planets then........LOL.....just think of the situations u r gonna create there......
so that, maybe NAture herself gave the world...the protection from such situation.

The elder it grows the more it understands and lesser it gets amused of those little things and hence smiles lesser..............
