An American Haunting.
The Hills Have Eyes (remake).
Creep.
I'm not that big a fan of the horror genre, but last year I tried giving it a chance. I love the experience of being frightened, and 2006 failed to really scare me, save for a few films like The Descent.
If you're looking to get scared by any film that's creative and smart, don't watch these films.

The 3 movies of all time I think sucked major *** are:
1. 8 Mile (No-talent Eminem's road to success)
2. The Alamo, from 2004. ( I'm from Texas & I respect Texas History, but I even know that any film with Billy Bob redneck is a stinker. Why did they have to put him in this flick?)
3. The Marine, w/ John Cena,(Just a lame attempt by WWE to cash in on this punk, Cena admitted he could not take the basic training taught by the marines. (Wussy) Hope Umaga whips your sorry *** at the Royal Rumble!)

All the Harry Potter films (apart from the first two). I just felt that, after reading the books in such detail, they didn't live up to what they could have been. Particually HBP which they seemed to try to turn into a romance when, although a subplot, it is not the main theme of the book.

Lady in the Water - saw it tonight - shocker
Devil Wears Prada - I found it shocking that women thought this film which shows pre-woman's movents sentiments about women in the workplace to many degrees. Frivolous fluff
Da Vinci Code - the flashbacks to fill us in on the obvious - oh, I get it now. Thanks Mr Howard.
