There is no proof of alien visitation or probing. It's people making up stories and why would aliens look like us. Having evolved on a totally different planet, I suspect we might not even recognize them as a life form.

I totally believe in aliens. Our universe is way to large and way to complex just to have spit out this one group of over-achieving apes. I also totally believe in relativity for the most part and have a pretty hard time imagining that something that could, and I don't know if I readily believe that they can or have, master the laws of physics so powerfully that they could cross the VAST distances of space and time on a whim, feel the need to explore the comparatively infintessimal mystery that is your colon with a "probe." Or insert crap into you. Or want to touch you. Who travels 45 light years for a booty call? Booty calls are about convienience, and 45 light years stresses the concept of convienient.

I guess they have to probe to keep an eye on their investment.
You see aliens brought us to earth many years ago and left us to it.
They come back every now and then to see what we have invented.
They then take our ideas back to their homeworld and sell them for a profit.
They take all our bad ideas to their enemies homeworlds and they still make a profit.
On one planet all the aliens are jibbering wrecks due to computer games and TV.
So my answer is they probe for entrepreneurial ideas.

They are not "probing". They are altering us genetically just like Mulder suspected. The ones that do this are the "bad guys". The good ones keep watch over us and prevent disasters.

Actually they dont have to prove anything. We are the ones that have been chasing them. Its a top secret that some goverments dont want to disclose info on extraterrestrial life however I think It exists. Those are 48 area 51 and stuff like that that we have heard about and those videos and evidence that has been there.

A wild theory suggest that life might have been implanted by some far more superior intelligence. They might be checking on us, just like the doctors and researchers do with the animals in a wild life sanctuary or zoo.
