how can i remove the harry potter OOTP movie countdown ?

Question

i accidentally added the movie countdown of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to my desktop. It came from the website: www.muggle.net. Can u give me the tips on how to remove it. so i won't get into trouble by my parents ?

Step #1: To remove the countdown in Windows 9x or Windows XP, right-click on your desktop and select Properties from the menu.

Step #2: For Windows 9x, select the Web tab within the Desktop properties window. For Windows XP, select the Customize Desktop button on the Desktop tab, then select the Web tab on the Customize Desktop window.

Step #3: You should now see a list of all Active Desktop items. Select the MuggleNet countdown you wish to remove, and press the Delete button. Approve the deletion of this Active Desktop item. After doing this, simply press the OK button for any open dialog boxes.

Did you try going into your start menu?

Try this: Empty your screen. Right click on the monitor screen after shutting down all your opened sites. After you right click, left click on properties.

Then click on desktop. You should be able to remove it from there.

If that doesn't work, I'm sorry, but I don't know.

OR, you might try going down at the bottom where all the little icons are. Maybe you can find it there. If so, right click, then left click on remove or delete.

Goto administration Panel start up -> Settings -> administration Panel opt for upload/get rid of courses seem for the Harry potter countdown application go with it and click on the get rid of button on the right. persist with the prompts
