Not knowing how serious your question is...the real answer is it would depend on if the previous owner granted mineral rights to the property when he/she sold it. If he kept the mineral rights then anything within the ground could be later claimed by him/her. Meaning, if you find oil & don't own the mineral rights to your land it doesn't belong to you.
