"The Man He Killed" is a Thomas Hardy poem that talks about how "quaint and curious" war is, in that would-be friends become foes during war. I am wondering if "Quaint & Curious" would be a good name for the play, giving sort of a reference to the poem... although, the poem is from an entirely different time period and "half-a-crown's" would not apply in the Civil War. Oh well, for what it's worth!

"House Divided" or "A House Divided". Not necessarily creative, but a classic Civil War quote which applies very aptly to your play. What are the brother's names? That might spark some creative ideas.

"Kin Conduct"
other suggestions: Dogmas of Kin, Kin Mores
other words to work with: Ethics, Ideals, Standards, descent, opposer
I went with the main ideas of 'brothers' and 'beliefs' cuz that's the basis from what I understand. You know what you're going for better than I do, so I think you should go to http://www.dictionary.com and punch in a whole bunch of words in the thesaurus and see what you can brainstorm.
