why do people here seem to only be from the central valley? And really there is only like ten people with sev

Actually, the number of different people participating in yahoo! Answers is widespread. Because of access and availability, most seem to be from the USA and the UK is close behind. India has a great presence.

My daughter [originally from Colombia] participates with the Spanish version and it keeps her busy - or fills in her idle moments anyway.

I cannot agree that this site is dominated, or even has all that strong a presence, from Central Valley.
