I'm just glad it wasn't Gore or Kerry. I wish Bush had planned this Iraq thing out a little more before the war. His first mistake was putting so much faith into Rumsfeld. If ol' Don had listened to CENTCOM in the year leading up to the invasion, Bush would have known he needed more troops in the first place. This mess could have been dealt with early. The fact does remain he is my President, however, and I do agree with his vision for a stable Middle East, but my loyalty can only go so far. Bush needs to see his new plan work and work soon if he wants to be remembered for anything other than being a complete failure.

I think president Bush is incapable of running the country at this point. Certainly incapable of running a war. Every time we've needed great leadership from the top (Katrina, Osama, trade deficit, not talking like a doofus), he has disappointed. The second amendment grants the right to bear arms, but the founding fathers could not have fathomed assault weapons and armor piercing, poison tipped bullets. There is no need for such weapons.

The Second Amendment to the US Constitution guarantees the right to bear arms (guns).
It is very controversial because many other countries have more restrictions on gun ownership.
I support President Bush, although he is not perfect of course.
Good luck in your studies!

I think he will go down in history as one of our greatest presidents. It takes a lot of courage to take on such a big task; one that none of the other presidents or leaders of any other country would tackle--- the world wide terrorism problem. The second amendment gives us the right to keep and bare arms.

I like your name. Beautiful, right?
I'm taking a German night class right now but it's very difficult.
Anyway, on to the question. As an American I disagree with some of his policies. I think we can do better.

I think all in all that Bush is a good president. Political reality being what it is, he is about as good as we can hope for. Let's just say he's a damned sight better than either of his Democratic opponents would be!
Give the Iraq thing about 10 years before making a final judgment. I think on balance it will turn out a lot better than people expect, and it will be a good thing.
