Well its not excatly the words but the abriavations, such as " wtf" and ROTFL, LOL, BRB, AFK, LMAO, OMG, XOXO. ect. also I use the so what r u up 2? talk where you us the sounds like b, u , r, 2, 4 like 4get. and stuff like that. Miss spelt words as well such as luvs, hugz, tonz, what fur? ect.
This one lady did a book all in IM messages and talk like that and she made a whole ton of mony

The most over-used word is "I". Close runner-up is "me". You're probably right about "lol" in chats and forums, though. People feel the need to inject a bit of expression in their text, and that's usually the first one that comes to mind.

I think it is ha ha ha , my daughtertold me to use :) and its cute but if Im laughing out while im talking to someone it looks better to me to let the person know really how hard Im laughing , I cant seem to help it .
