They seemed to have a pretty strong government started up over there. Now the Taliban has come back strong with our attention sidetracked. Should we at least finished up in Afghanistan before shifting our focus into Iraq?

Afghanistan has been in trouble for many decades. Most of the educated citizens have moved to other countries. We've got hundreds of Afghanistan's in my city alone .... they are good hard working people , the ones i met .
Afghanistan only has the rebels/renegades or the very poor left in that country.... of course the poor are busy growing drugs to feed the USA's addiction to heroin.
The only way to fight drug lords is to make drugs legal ! the price will drop like fly eggs on carrion

properly, first the muse of your question is slightly fallacious, because the Taliban hasn't ever been shown to were in touch in the 9/11 attacks. That became the artwork of Al Queda... the Taliban became the authorities of Afghanistan who became in reality "harbouring" Al Queda. next, we idea we HAD really properly smacked down Al Queda and the Taliban earlier to withdrawling many troops from Afghanistan... in reality Afghanistan in reality began being "difficulty" back in the only ideal 3 hundred and sixty 5 days... via terrorist bases in Pakistan. Now it truly is genuine that Afghanistan is larger than Iraq in both section and inhabitants... Ask a customary

The question isn't winning Iraq or losing Afghanistan. It's terrorism that we are fighting--- wherever it is.... hopefully not here. We have the best troops in the world. They are educated and dedicated. If they say we are doing what needs doing---who are we and the talking heads to say differently. They are the ones doing the job.

You guys are focused on Iraq.

We're (the military) focused on both.

The media would have you think that we are not fighting both wars but that is false. The media has chosen to ignore Afghanistan. We're still there. I don't want anyone to forget that.

Our military is capable of fighting two fronts at the same time. What you suggest would be like Eisenhower saying, "Let's finish the Japanese before we go after the Germans."

We can do it.

It's the same enemy in two different places. It's difficult to fight a war on two fronts.

Time for some of the free world to help with Afghanistan?

Yes, it is going to make us loose in Afghanistan. Although Bush only wanted to secure the poppy fields ( heroin production is up 60%), so I guess Bush feels that the mission is accomplished.
