No matter what individuals say, everyone cares about money because it is necessary to survive. No matter how much love a person has for their family and friends they cannot live off of love. Also relationships between friends and family can be destroyed over money.

Individuals that do not think money is important obviously don’t look at all the marriages broken up over finances, businesses destroyed by cash flow problems, and lives destroyed by injuries because people lack affordable healthcare coverage.

If you are a person that does not feel that money is important, you need to realize that there is no shame in admitting that you care about it. Not only does it allow a person to have the things they want and need but it allows them to slightly reduce the number of things they have to worry about each day..

I can think of nothing that I would kill for but many things would be worth dying for. You mention poverty... It's obvious there's to little love in the world when 1/3 of the population has an obesity problem and 1/3 are starving to death. I'd be willing to die this very second if it would bring more love into the human equation... I'm not important enough for such a sacrifice to mean anything. That's why Jesus came and died, but for all his wise teachings it would seem that love draws ever colder even among those who claim to follow him. May God bless you, as you seem to be a student of peace.... Blessed Be!

Money is important, yes, but within bounds! Real wealth is much more than money! Attitude, friendship, open mind, ability to love and forgive.......so much more! Make some money, draw the line and get on with life! Live and, more important, let live!
