I live in Boulder, CO, where for the next few months there is hard packed snow on every court in boulder. The only indoor courts are country clubs which require a membership fee of $600/month, which is a little infeasable for me. I cant seem to find any other public indoor courts anywhere nearby. What are my options, I JUST WANNA PLAY SOME TENNIS!

Got it figured out! I want colder weather and you need warmer weather so let's just trade states until you are thawed out!

I live outside of Portland Oregon and we have quite the off season going on right now as well. The town I live in has a tennis club (which cost nothing to join) that organizes a weekly meeting at the local college so that we can go play indoors for $5 an hour. Check the phone book and see if there is a tennis club in your area, or keep an eye on the newspaper maybe. Or you could always just do what my boys have been doing and take your old racket out and hit snow balls...lol

I had the same problem when I lived in Chicago, so I got into racquetball in the winters. Most gyms and athletic clubs have racquetball courts, and it's surprisingly fun. While tennis and racquetball are insanely different, I found that playing racquetball really helped my hand-eye coordination and reaction time for tennis.

Or, if you don't want to do that, I suppose you could buy a Nintendo Wii and get Wii Tennis...just don't go throwing the controllers into your TV.
