No, not really.
Loss creates a good deal of angst.
But the pain isn't a desert, it's full of life. It connects me to who I am and makes me real.
The pain passes in time....what's left is the memories I cherish and hold close to my heart.
As long as I'm here, those memories won't wither or die.
