well, first off, you need to open My Computer and see if you have a Recovery Partition... it will most likely be called SATELLITE_RP or TECRA_RP

if you have this recovery partition, restart your laptop, and when you come up to the boot screen, press F10 a few times to see if you can get into SYSTEM RECOVERY.

if your system does not have the recovery partition, my honest guess would be that you need the recovery CD's

get win xp bootleg disk.(from a freind or try limewire,watch out for viruses only dowload large files. xp is about 500 megs) once u have windows u need drivers from tosh. support. if u have wyfi use another comp. to get those drivers to get on line then your off and running. factory disks are very important! a lot of peaple dont know these.

OOo.... that will be tough. Normally, schools automatically block any CD or DVD that is not approved so you could find a website that will give the information to the computer on how to wipe it. You could ask or email your friend or the student administrator to ask him for the disk. You could buy a new one from toshibaSorry but there is not much i Can do. Our school recently thru out multiple DELL computers and many students grabbed them and couldn't get the administrator password off.

Sure you need the CD. If you are experiencing problems with XP try restoring it to a back date.

You can do a system restore, probably. I believe its under accessories. Restore it as far back as you can.

most lap tops has recovery disc d use this or re boot through d drive it could solve this
