now internet is full of spywares & trojans & robots those who use to patcher to hide himself. so 90% period you cant detect spywarers by even with latest softwares.
there is a way what is a lilbit difficult ..

No 1. Close all the internet Releated Softwares like Messenger IE/FIREFOX etc.

No 2. Go to Command Prompt by typing cmd.exe in Run
No 3. Then type netstat -n

if you find any Active Connection or if it shows any active connection then you surely there is a spyware.

You need to supply more information.

What type of operating system are you using (Windows/Linux/etc)?

When you say "remote users", do you mean someone accessing files on your PC, or do you mean someone using Remote Desktop (or similiar remote control software) to connect to your machine?


In general, for Windows operating systems, one method of auditing usage would be to enable security auditing and view the Event Logs. There are other methods available, but it would be easier to have more clarification of the question.

do you have a firewall? if not try www.sygate.com it has a feature that allows you to backtrace who is acessing your computer and gives you the ip address, phone number, their mail adress etc.... as they have it registered on the bone.... you can also check your settings in C drive go to properties and disable remote access to your computer.

Im not sure how windows user do it,but all I have to do is type who at the shell prompt(non windows ie linux,unix,freebsd) you might try and google this question.

you need to put a password on your internet, and a good password as well, that will stop it.
