nothing is being moved or changed, shouldn't it stay on stand by until i touch something, is there a way i can fix this?

Chances are you've got a program on the pc that automatically comes on periodically for an update that "wakes" it up out of sleep mode.

If you have an USB devices connected, that might be the reason. I could never figure out why my G5 kept waking up. I figured out it was the USB scanner. If left on, it would send a signal to the G5, and waking it up.

maybe a ghost in the machine? sometimes the slightest vribration in teh mouse will kick the system out of standby. Every time one of the da** discos on wheels(you know the low riders that have the boom,bada boom rap crap cranked up) all my systems come to life. like they think its time to party or somethin.
