Yes, they have easily the best one through five in the National League. Jason Schmidt and Brad Penny are a great one-two, and most teams would kill to have guys like Lowe and Wolf in the 3-4 spots. I know someone mentioned the Mets, but how can you compare Lowe and Wolf to John Maine and Oliver Perez? The Cards and Astros both have good rotations, too, but their back ends can't match up with the Dodgers.

Dodger Stadium is traditionally a pitcher's park (although it favored hitters last season according to park effects), and it's going to be tough for the opposition to do much against those starters. It doesn't hurt that their bullpen is loaded, either.

YES...but not by much
In my opinion the Dodgers do have the best starters in the NL. Schmidt and Penny are a great 1-2 punch. Lowe and Wolf are great 3 and 4 guys. Bullpen is solid and Taito the closer is a good one but is he reliable?
DBacks have good pitching with Webb, Randy Johnson, Livan Hernandez and Doug Davis but bad bullpen.
Philly made improvements with Lieber, Eaton, Myers, Moyer and Garcia as their starting 5 but they're not going to be consistent enough.
Cubs staff could be really good but it all depends on the injury-prone Prior and Woods.
...On paper, I would say the Dodgers do have the best pitching staff in the NL

I'd say top to bottom, the Astros are better, I like the Marlins and Padres too. The Dodgers are right up there though.

no but, they do have a decent one. The mets have the best one. Thats only if Martinez comes back from the shoulder injury. If not I think Arizona woul dnow have the best.

Not quite, but I'm not sure who does. Dodgers will have to wait a couple years to mature.
